Visa Types
The Embassy of the Republic of Angola, Consular Section, makes it known to all those who are interested in obtaining Residence Visa and Work Visa for the Republic of Angola, must in the future, has to submit the following documents for its purpose:
1 Request for Residence Visa.

a) Visa Application form to be filled in Original and Duplicate
b) Two (2) recent coloured photographs.
c) Photocopy of the passport and of the main pages and of those which contain information about international travel. d) Medical Certificate duly attested.
e) Police Clearance Certificate which declares that the concerned person has no Criminal record as per the Law of the country of the applicant.
f) Affidavit certified by Notary of the beneficiary promising to respect the Angolan Law.
g) Proof of funds for subsistence in Angola.
h) Proof of existence of relations with the nationals or foreigners residing in Angola.

Request for Work Visa

For the purpose of employment in Companies such as Diamonds companies T State owned companies, private companies, mixed associations and co-operatives:
a) Application of contracting entity (Companies)
b) Two (2) recent coloured photographs.
c) Photocopy of the Passport and of the main pages and of those which contain information of international travel.
d) Certificate of Educational or Professional Qualifications.
e) Police Clearance Certificate or a document from the Police Authorities from the area of the concerned person which declares that there is no criminal record as per the Law of the country of the applicant.
f) Declaration saying that he promises to respect the Angolan Laws.
g) Medical Certificate duly attested.
h) Individual contract of work in duplicate.
i) Letter from the Ministry of Tutela with a favourable opinion for the issue of the Employment Visa.
For the purpose of employment in Petroleum Companies:
a) Application of the contracting entity (applicant Company)
b) Two (2) recent coloured photographs.
c) Photocopy of the passport and of the main pages and of those pages which contain the information of International travel.
d) Medical Certificate duly attested.
e) Letter from the Ministry of Petroleum with a favourable opinion for the issue of the Work Visa.
f) Certificate of Educational Qualifications.
For the purpose of employment with the entities involved in agreements with Government, Bilateral and Non-governmental Organisations:

a) Application of the contracting entity

b) Two (2) recent coloured photographs

c) Letter from the Ministry of Tutela with a favourable opinion for the issue of Work visa.

d) Declaration saying that he promises to respect the Angolan Laws.

e) A Police Clearance Certificate or a letter from the Police Authorities from the area of the concerned person saying that there is no Criminal record as per the Laws of the country of the applicant.

f) Certificate of Educational Qualifications in Duplicate.

g) Individual Work Contract in Duplicate.

h) Medical Certificate duly attested.

Note :When the contracting entity requires a work visa for a foreign citizen for the first time, they must enclose the copy of the Agreement signed between them and the Government of Republic of Angola that legalises its activity.
